Buckingham Palace is the London residence of the UK royal family -- head out on a tour or watch the changing of the guard!

The origin of Westminster Abbey dates back to the 960s or 970s and construction on the present building began in 1245. Since the coronation of William the Conqueror in 1060, the coronation of all British monarchs have taken place in Westminster Abbey. Elizabeth II is the current Queen of England -- watch her 1953 coronation.

Hyde Park was founded by Henry VIII in 1536 who used it for hunting. It opened as a park for the public in 1636 and is famous for its free speech and demonstrations in Speakers' Corner since 1872.
STEAM Activities
Tate Modern is an incredible art museum in London -- they offer some great projects for kids. Try creating a sound creature or make some criss cross artwork.
